5 Minute Guacamole

My attitude when it comes to deciding on a recipe is real simple.

  • Few ingredients
  • Easy to make
  • Tastes awesome

Simple.  Hence why this is my favourite Guac recipe to date – 5 ingredients in a blender, instant Guacamole heaven.  Oh and did I mention it’s also healthy too 🙂

5 Minute Guacamole
Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings
Ingredients
  • 2 medium Avacados (or 1 large will do the trick)
  • 2/3 cloves of garlic
  • 3 Shallots (Or half an onion) chopped
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • Handful of chopped cilantro to taste
  • Cayenne Pepper (Optional - if you like a bit of a kick :D)
Instructions
Non Chunky method
  1. Non chunky method Put all the ingredients in a blender, I personally use a Nutribullet but anything that blends will do the trick.  Pulse for a bit.  Presto 😉
Chunky Method
  1. If you don't happen to have a decent blender handy (I didn't for a long time), or you prefer a chunkier consistency to your Guacomole, then hand mash the avacado's with a fork and mix the lot together in a bowl.
